The Environmental Engineer is the journal of the Society for Sustainability and Environmental Engineering (previously The Environmental Engineering Society), a learned society of Engineers Australia.

It analyses a range of subject matter covering all aspects of environmental engineering. Recent topics have included life-cycle analysis in waste management and the use of the national pollutant inventory in facilitating site-level cleaner production objectives.

Edited by Julia Lamborn, it is published 4 times a year by Hallmark Editions.
