The Australian Water Directory is a cooperative initiative of the Australian Water Association, the Water Services Association of Australia and the Australian National Commitee on Irrigation and Drainage.

At the heart of the Directory is an alphabetical list detailing, for the most part, the corporate members of the participating associations, as well as other associations of interest to the water industry. There are over 600 organisations listed, making The Australian Water Directory the most comprehensive industry reference resource is Australia.

The remainder of the publication provides useful reference material about water in Australia, including statistics, information about national water initiatives, units of measurement and standard national abbreviations. There is also a useful list of Australian and international water industry organisations, including their contact details

Previously known as the AWA Handbook, The Australian Water Directory is now in its sixth edition and now utilises a web interface to collect and proof its organisational data. Please visit www.awa.asn.au to find out more.
